Make Money Online - What to Sell on eBay

Over a million people go to eBay daily looking for items to buy. If you have something to sell, don't waste your time listing these items online at other websites. Go to eBay. They have a high volume of customer traffic every day. Customers seeking items to buy, and ready to plop their money down to buy when they see it!

You can sell almost anything on eBay. But, what are good items to sell in order to make money online? Hot Items. To find out which items are high in demand on eBay go to their hot item report at http://pages.ebay.com/sellercentral/hotitems.pdf. Once you have decided what hot items you want to sell online at eBay to make money working at home, then you need to figure out where to get these much desired products.

Some great places on where to go to get products to sell are Wholesalers, Garage Sales, Returned Items, Craft Shows and Trade Shows.

One thing to consider with a wholesaler is to make sure that they do drop shipping. Drop shipping allows you to sell the items but not have to purchase and carry the inventory upfront. Once you sell an item, you then place your order with the drop ship wholesaler who will then ship the item from their stock directly to your customer.

How many of us have found a super great deal at a garage sale? Just the other day, my Husband purchased a blue tooth wireless cell phone headset, new, for $3 at a garage sale! Imagine how much money could be made if he turned around and put the item up for sale on eBay.

Returned items are also a good way to acquire products to sell. A lot of retailers will get returned items that they never resell, or if they do resell it will be at a discounted price. What you do is go to a retail store and approach the manager. Ask if they have any returned merchandise that they will sell to you for a discounted rate.

Craft Shows and Trade Shows. Here is an interesting idea. Lots of vendors who have booths set up at these shows are looking for people like you. People who will purchase their products below retail price and turn around and sell them. Why? This increases the vendor's sales and product recognition.

To get started selling items on eBay, make sure you have signed up for an account with them. It is FREE to sign up, and once you sell an item you can receive your money as early as the same day of purchase!
